Westside Warrior and White Cap - China Glaze

Good morning! I'm going to New York City on Saturday with one of my friends so while I was choosing a color for this manicure I was drawn to China Glaze's Metro collection. Westside Warrior is a favorite of mine so I thought what better occasion to wear a color inspired by the Statue of Liberty than this week! I love how the final effect turned out! Keep reading to see how I achieved it.

I began with China Glaze's Westside Warrior as a base color which you can see swatched here. I love this color and the formula is incredible. The polish simply glides on your nails and is very opaque without being too thick. Perfect application in my book.

I wanted to add something extra to this Statue of Liberty inspired manicure that would make it stand out. I decided to add China Glaze's White Cap not knowing exactly what it would turn out to look like. To my surprise the end effect was a wonderful golden goodness!! I love how it turned out and I can see the Statue of Liberty shining in the sun on my nails! I put in a close up of White Cap at the end to show you how truly magical this polish is. It is made up of micro flakies and completely transforms any color I apply it to the top of. I hope you like the pictures and have a good rest of the day! -Gina

China Glaze - For Audrey

Hey guys! Today I have a really fun post! For this manicure I started with For Audrey by China Glaze which you all know is an amazing color by itself. Alone it was a bit too plain for me however so I decided to put some flowers on the tips of my nails using Rise and Shine by Sinful Colors, Whirlwind White by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri and a dotting tool. I thought the end product ended up really nice and definitely sent off a summer vibe. I hope you enjoy!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Here are my valentines nails which I think ended up really well! I started with a base of Easy Going by Sinful Colors which is a beautiful pale pink. It is a pretty thick polish and you have to work with it but it is worth the $2 I spent on it. Now starting with my pointer finger, I used OPI's Red Shatter, next would be Teenage Dream by OPI, then I used a stamping plate I got from The Born Pretty store, so it's not as good as Konads, but the color I used was City Siren by China Glaze. Finally on my pinky I used Excuse Moi! by OPI. Thanks for checking my nails out! I hope you have a good day!

Lorelei's Tiara - China Glaze

Don't you just love Christmas polishes? I was so happy to receive this gem from my aunt for Christmas! Lorelei's Tiara is a jam packed glitter from China Glaze and is part of the Eye Candy collection. This looks to be a clear based glitter but there are so many silver micro glitters that the base may as well be silver. Along with the silver glitter there are round bright blue glitters that float around. It is definitely a beautiful glitter that applies nicely. In these pictures I have Lorelei's Tiara over Hard Candy's Sky polish. This is 2 coats and as you can see, its full coverage, you cannot see any of the blue underneath except maybe at the tips where my Seche Vite shrunk (oops). And sorry in advance for my dry hands.

Lemon Fizz and Flyin' High Look Great Together!

Good morning! Today I have a fun nail design to share with you all, and guess what? More Up and Away!  While looking for a color to wear Lemon Fizz and Flyin' High caught my eyes and I thought they might look good together. So I did this manicure and I love it! I put a flower on my ring fingers and then dotted my thumbs all using a dotting tool. This was super easy to achieve and I will probably be doing it more with different colors.

As for the polishes, they are both China Glaze, of course and super unique and beautiful. The application of Flyin' High is perfect, just like High Hopes. It covers in one coat and goes on very smoothly. Lemon Fizz is a bit harder because it is a yellow. It is a bit runny on the first coat but that is to be expected from a light yellow polish. Over all they are both gorgeous and everyone should have at least two of each! haha

In these pictures it shows what I did to my thumb:

High Hopes

Hello again! Today I will be sharing with you guys one of my favorite polishes which is China Glaze's High Hopes from their Up and Away collection. The collection as a whole is flawless and I recommend picking up every single color if you haven't yet. I have found that the pastel colors in this collection are much thicker and harder to apply than the brighter colors. High Hope's, being the bright red color that it is, has an amazing application. The polish is very pigmented but still thin enough to go on the nail smoothly. I love everything about the polish and would definitely recommend it!

*Please excuse the white nail polish on my finger.
